Modernizing perception while preserving versatility.
Graha YKP needed a refreshed brand identity that could appeal to a broader audience without losing its flexibility as a multi-purpose venue. At the same time, its supporting accommodation brand, Wisma Wijaya Kusuma, required clearer differentiation and a more contemporary positioning to attract event tenants.
What We Did
Mahardhika led a comprehensive branding initiative for both Graha YKP and Wisma Wijaya Kusuma.
For Graha YKP, we developed a brand concept inspired by the building’s Art Deco architecture, positioning it as a “Meeting Place”—a venue where people gather, connect, and create meaningful moments. This concept guided the visual identity and messaging, ensuring emotional relevance while remaining aligned with the physical environment.
For Wisma Wijaya Kusuma, we redefined the brand entirely—renaming it Griyantara, a shorter and more approachable name meaning “pleasant house.” We developed a new identity and tagline with a modern Art Deco influence, establishing Griyantara as a distinct accommodation brand rather than a derivative extension of Graha YKP.
Outcome
Graha YKP emerged with a refreshed and more contemporary identity that strengthened its appeal as a versatile event venue. Griyantara gained a clear and differentiated positioning as a modern, welcoming accommodation for event tenants. Together, both brands now present a cohesive yet distinct experience—enhancing recognition, relevance, and rental attractiveness.
