As competition intensified from both local and international brands, Daalderop needed to strengthen its relevance and reinforce its leadership in the Indonesian market. The challenge was to protect its premium positioning while deepening emotional connection with consumers beyond product performance alone.

What We Did

Mahardhika conducted in-depth research into Daalderop’s product performance and customer expectations. From this insight, we identified trust as the core driver behind brand preference in the category.

We translated this insight into a clear and human brand message by introducing the tagline “Your Partner in Warmth.” This positioned Daalderop not merely as a water heater, but as a dependable companion in everyday comfort and family life.

To support this direction, we refreshed the brand identity to better resonate with Indonesian consumers—ensuring the visual and verbal system reinforced reliability, warmth, and premium quality across all touchpoints.

Daalderop emerged with a stronger emotional connection to its audience and a clearer brand narrative rooted in trust and partnership. With a refreshed identity and focused positioning, the brand strengthened its competitive standing and reinforced its role as a trusted household name in the Indonesian water-heating market.
